The Varsity football team started off their season with two away games this August on the 20th and 27th at Mojave and Boulder City High Schools, respectively.

Mojave won the first game with a score of 28 to 14. Boulder City took the win in the second game with a score of 35 to 6. However, the Vikings are looking forward.

“We played hard and just came up on the losing end on the stick the first two games,” Head Coach Quincy Burts said.

Burts and the team are looking forward to their upcoming home games in front of their fans, and they liked being back at the football games.

“[We enjoyed] just being back on the gridiron competing,” Burts said.
